Stony Brook Valley Farm is located along the upper branches of Stony Brook in Granby and Ludlow, Massachusetts. Our mission is to be a local and sustainable producer of staple foods, including meats, poultry, eggs, grains and pulses, and more. Our eggs, poultry, and meats are available through our Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and our eggs can also be found at select local markets. We are growing about 6 acres of grains and other crops in 2013, both for our Grain CSA and as feed for our livestock. We partner with Red Fire Farm, a neighboring organic vegetable grower, for management of fields and pastures and for many of our CSA locations. Most of what we produce is certified organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers; beyond that, we aim to meet the highest standards of sustainable organic agriculture in everything we do.
We believe that good food should be available to everyone, and we offer low-income CSA options.
